Is it possible to use different prices in Single player and Multiplayer?
The only usable prison before mission 2 is in Alaska and you need to go all the way through Custodian and X-3043 to get there

I would prefer to sell them on Fort Bush, or maybe Battleship Missouri (Liberty Dreadnoughts are known to have maximum security cells)

Having to stay in one system trading your way up is just annoying.

Here is how I start out in single player:
step 1: before launching to meet King, buy a Patriot LF with Deep Scanner (used by all npcs, standard scanner is really bad) and weapons of choice
step 2: kill as many enemies as possible (pods) and collect the bounty for 3 extra rogues near the trade lane (after the transport says it is leaving)
step 3: finish the mission as normal. Form up with King before he takes the trade lane to Fort Bush after the mission.
step 4: dock to custodian, from there to X-3043 and from there to alaska (adjust difficulty if this is too hard, you NEED the deep scanner here)
step 5: sell pods and take the same way back to new york
