P4's should never be an rentable server option.. You see, most recent AMD precessors are better than the P4, the only flaw, is that to upgrade for a better AMD processor, you have to buy a new mobo as well. Since you're renting an complete server, there's no reason to go with P4, unless you wanna save money.

There's the list, and for what i've understood, there must be NO char using none of the listed. Think this way, if you want to delete a file in your HD, you cannot be using it.

Well.. i guess that a char wipe would be better than the mod closure.. so, it's not the "last thing we need".

Actually, torrent wouldn't be the best short term solution. What happens, is that a good .torrent needs at least 5 seeds (asuming that each of this seeds has an average network connection). So you see, with torrent, instead of needing one host, we'll need 5 hosts, connected 24/7.

Splitting the file in several rar files would increase drastically the chance of file corruption. So the best option would be to host an complete file in some web hosting space. Were i don't know.. since i don't upload any files.
