Same prizes like always: 10 mill. if on winning team, otherwise 5 mill. and 1 mill. per gun.

Ancient Hunt results on 19.10.13

20 minutes hunting either Ancients or Nomads, then switch system (Utopia and Dervon).
Ancient guns are 3 points and Nomad guns are 1 point. All points of a group are added and devided equally to each groupmember (1 mill a point).
On winning team you get 10 mill extra, else you get 5 mill extra for participation.
Then we had 2 donators: 30 mill for winning team extra and 50 mill for losing team extra. Thx m8s for that

Dragonfly should be one of those VHF, that carry 6 × lvl 10 guns, imho

Big thanks to maishaf (Original-...) and (IOC)Fencer for helping me yesterday

Some explanations: we started small excursion from BS Deliverance and my intention was to hunt Dom Kavash gunboats in Mandar. Advantage of Mandar are the Nomads, that drop batts n bots (but unfortunately no weapons ). But we found out, that amount of DK gunboats is too little. We got only 1 DK Annihilator in 25 min, so we decided to take another system.

Choice was Hieron or Vorkuta. Our IOC-member had already nice experiences with both systems (well u know, IOC has always nice ideas and is active in expeditions) so we decided to go to Vorkuta.

Good choice in my opinion. To dock at Donezk station is a little bit risky because of DK-spawning nearby. However Coalition HQ with its
ion cannon perimeter is save place for docking. We flew then in different asteroid fields nearby and found lots of DK gunboats. Well, i was tired and very slow yesterday and didnt manage to make DK very angry with me, they are still white for me But my friends made a good job and in 30 min Fencer got 4 guns in his cargo bay. We stood a little bit longer, made some nice side seeing, found some magical smoking fires, and got one more DKA

Conclusions: well, u see most conclusions in event announcement above, but one important thing was missing: DK hunt is not very hard. In my opinion Ancient hunt is much harder, so we can invite newbies too. Side effect of it: they will have easy going to Coalition space since mostly they wont go allone

Well np for me about the time. Did not read about it in forum, only on server. And im sure, most players do the same. Most players, especially the newbies, dont even have account in forum or dont care about the forum at all. Means, imho, we should syncronize the times of events of forum and server.

OK Night-Hunter, i'm with but next time i change the kind of getting prizes:
The hunt in dervon is teamwork. I've noticed, that only few players get the ancient-cannons and the others get nothing. Imho this is not fair, because, when u go alone to dervon, u'll never survive 20 or 30 min with some ancient-guns. Thats why the points of one group will be shared equally to everyone of the group.

For example: team ANybIS got 61 points, devided with 5 (team-members), gives 12.2 points for each. Instead of 12.2 points it will be 13 points. Means, each member of team ANybIS had got 23 mill as prize. Each member of team Reaper had got 17 mill as prize in this case.

Award will go to player with most nomad guns, since name of award is "nomad destroyer".

I think it is fair enough then

naaah. i still have a problem. because why the tax should be paid, if victim escapes from system? this is not logical and gives too much rights to pirate.

in this case i, as merc, want similar rights: bounty-head in a system, i enter system and tell victim, i want his bounty (without seeing him) and if he leaves system i get the bounty

not logical? RIGHT!
