Once my download with Opera failed aswell, I resumed it, and got it completely...just dont know if the mod would work, I got it a second time after it

Well, IE downloads sucked every time on my comp, I got it with Opera, try this or a Download manager...

I got the game from a friend of mine, he didnt like it...until I got i-net, I played the storyline...about 5 times
, then I found the CF-mod v 1.4 and played it offline (sadly didnt know that I could play with 56K modem) then, in December 2005 I got DSL, and since then I play almost only Freenancer....cant imagine how wasted my life would be, if this friend didnt give me the game -

I found that way to get on in some old treads aswell, done it, now I can see CF server also on the server list
I´ve also posted it somewhere here...for other pipl who have probs with the direct login file...

Install Freelancer
Install Freelancer Mod Manager
Install Crossfire Mod 1.62, it will need a path into the directory of Mod Manager, NOT into the mod directory of FLMM, only into the main directory.
After installing the mod you should see it on the mod list in FLMM, activate....play...have fun
PS: I had a problem, that after installing of CF mod, it was not detected by the FLMM, had to download it again...

I think the problem is with my windows...but anyway, I found another way to get on the server. In a very old tread Grinder has explained something about adding " -s212.227.23.76:2302" to the target of the shortcut icon of FL, just to the end of it...now it works well( maybe the global server only got back )However, it works, Im happy!

1: Nothing happens if I hit the "Add Server" button
2: Nothing happens if I hit hte "Launch Freelancer" buttonI will go cry for some hours and then come back to check, maybe someone has another solution...

Flashget didnt work with me
. Downloaded it, installed, but the Mod Manager didnt detect it.
Then I downoladed it with the standard Opera download manager, everything works fine... -
Probably it was offline at the time you looked...or you didnt see it.
If the server is online or not, you can see on the crossfire.swat-portal pageIf you have trouble to find the Crossfire server in the list, activate the filter option to hide servers with incompatible builds

I heard some rumors already about you Avenger...entering our clansystem....ignoring warnings...if you want to do it again, I cant do much to prevent that yet...but plz do it only if Im online [8] [8] [8]
