    Thanks everyone for they concern about me. I did and have some problems but I will stay up and good. Hope to come to play very soon, as I am dying to play again.


    Came online on my SP a few days ago for a while. Was very early in the morning for me, 0400 my time and 0800 GMT.

    PS: I have so much to read in the forum. I just saw this thread and I had check the forum a few times before. I did not check for over a month. I am working right now, mine regular schedule right now is from 1830 to 0300 my time (GMT -4), but during the holidays I am working 12 to 16 hours a day with no days off. Hope to get a day off soon.

  • Investigation

    Lance I have the same problem with my ping, is goes up and down. Last Saturday I had a low ping but packets losses, because OP check the connections during the event. I called my ISP and they fixed the problem of the packets losses last Tuesday.


    Anyway my ping was ok that day and yesterday was very high, around 600, when I usually have between 160 and 200. Today is again in 165.


    Dont know what the problem is but like I said, some times the ping just go up. Check your ping before entering the game and you will see that sometime is going to be ok.

    PS: Did you install the patch that maybe will help with the ping. I installed and I didnt need it.

    The role-play your attempting to do is not permitted in this Server. Below are the rules about the specific role-plays allow in Crossfire Server. That is only a part of the role-play rules, for more information goes to this link: Crossfire Server

    Additional to the ASF/CSF Roleplay which is only for the serverclans of Crossfire we still run an open roleplay for ALL players on Crossfire. ALL players which want to take part in this roleplay will have to mount a roleplay licence on their chars. You can find those roleplay licences on every House Planet in Sirius. ASF and CSF members have the right to do this kind of roleplay aswell. They have to wear their ASF or CSF licence and their clan has to announce the clans type of roleplay on the Crossfire forum.


    Pirates:
    All pirates must have a pirate licence mounted on their ship. Only exception is if an ASF or CSF licence is mounted and the whole clan is known to be
    pirates.


    Pirates life is a though one, they have to tax other players to earn their daily money.
    They may not open fire on a player without asking for tax and receiving an answer no matter if this reply is written word or an action. If the player does
    pay then the pirate can be happy. If the player does not pay the pirate may destroy him.
    Pirates may not tax more than the listed amounts (see "Taxes, Fines, Bounty").
    Pirates may attack police without any warning and may hire mercenaries if needed.


    If a player has been taxed he may not get taxed again within the next 2 hours.



    Police:
    All police must have a police licence mounted on their ship. Only exception is if an ASF or CSF licence is mounted and the whole clan is known to be police.


    Police duty is to maintain law and order all over Sirius.
    They may not open fire on a smuggler without informing them that they are being fined and receiving an answer no matter if this reply is written word or an
    action.
    The police may scan all players for illegal goods (such as cardamine, alien artifacts or black market goods).
    If the smuggler does not pay the fine the police may destroy him.
    The police may fine pirates aswell or attack them without warning and hire mercenaries if needed.
    Police may not fine more than the listed amounts (see "Taxes, Fines, Bounty").


    If a player has been fined he may not get fined again within the next 2 hours.



    Mercenaries:
    All mercs must have a merc licence mounted on their ship. Only exception is if an ASF or CSF licence is mounted and the whole clan is known to be mercs.


    Mercs are allowed to accept "jobs" from any other roleplay faction (including Freelancers).
    Jobs are escort services, assasinations, deliveries or anything else that is worth paid for.
    The amount of money a merc can get for a job depends on his "customer" but it should be less than a min. amount (see "Taxes, Fines, Bounty").
    Mercs may not ask for fines or taxes.



    Smugglers:
    All smugglers must have a smuggler licence mounted on their ship. Only exception is if an ASF or CSF licence is mounted and the whole clan is known to be
    smugglers.


    Smugglers are specialized in trading rare illegal goods all over Sirius.
    They can make high profits this way but live in high danger getting taxed by pirates or fined by the police.
    Smugglers can hire mercs which will protect them.
    Smugglers may not ask for fines or taxes.




    Taxes, Fines, Bounty:
    Rank 40-50: max. $100k
    Rank 51-60: max. $500k
    Rank 51-60: max. $1mio
    Rank 75 and more: max. $10mio


    Bounties shouldn't be below $500k.



    A player which does not wear one of the aboves licences is not allowed to do the roleplay mentioned above. All players not wearing roleplay licences are considered "Freelancers" which does not mean that a pirate will not try to tax them or that the police will not scan them for illegal goods.



    NOTE: ASF/CSF Roleplay has highest priority and must not be disturbed by the Open Roleplay or Freelancers.

  • Crossfire 1.70 is available for download at LR

    Lancer Reactor at last posted the mod of CF for download.

    Download the mod and start having fun mates.


    And remember you need a fresh start of FL and FLMM, do not bypass those or the server wont work correctly.


    When everything is activate and ready to go you will use the launcher at the desktop, do not use the Global Sever, if you do, you wont be able to play MP.


    The Laucher do a daily update of the dinamic universe and other things.

  • Clan??

    Seanstakes, just look for any LP on-line and they will let you know what to do.
    The leaders are: Stone_Ryder, privateer, Tanatos, Amhos and myself.
    But the following members can also recruit: StingRay, Saxon and Flaming.Death.
    We will see you in space and will check if you are a worthy player to become LP.

  • Events

    OP, I am willing to run some events until we find responsible event managers again.
    As I can see LP-Saxon and Doppleganger are willing to be event managers.
    We cant stop the event, that is something the ppl's like and is good for the server.
    I was doing something new in the events. I was giving 3 millions, for just playing in the event to any ppl under lvl 40, and was very successfully attracting new ppls.

  • To Lancers Reactor

    Mates we need to post as many threads as we can in the link below.
    This might help us to make LR to post the mod quickly. I couldn't post because I didn't have a password. Requested one and waiting to get it.
    I will also mention on my thread on LR that I will donate some money for the new server. Of course is up to everyone if you want to donate or not.
