  • I have been banned

    I have just come back to fly Crossfire after a long absence and in the mists of time had lost all my old games details.

    The last few days i have been playing with a new account and then today, after the restart, i find my account has been banned?

    I cant think of anything i have done wrong so i wonder why this has happened.

    @ Gunny thx mate will try it.


    Gust yep and u also cant see JH without the effects details , though u can reduce them a bit and still see the weps etc.


    I was also told by one player to reduce the Graphic and sound Accellerators.


    And also that old prob the 3D sound, which most ppl should know about

    Well Slayer it would be good if u could come back and trade as there is always a need for cash to buy stuff.


    And besides being chased by pirates can be a challenge.


    It requires a bit of skill and gives its owns thrills. Im sure Privvy and inferno will oblige. :)

    Well Supercars u should know the military have commando units deep in Coalition space.


    Keep to your missions of mercy. Dont stir up any Alliance v Coalition conflicts or u will end up in the middle of a war.


    As far as trading goes i think there is a branch of the infamous LP pirate clan based in Alitar. For example that scoundrel Capitaina Amos.


    U might end up being the ones who need help. LOL

  • SL departs/disbands

    Merc role play is a hard one and u need to be well known by all the community to attract contracts.


    What about changing your RP to something that allows u to be proactive like Pirate. They dont need contracts they can just go out and its instant action.


    Just a thought.

  • Karak and Shroud

    I had someone refuse to fight me the other day cause they said my Karak was a bugged ship???


    Well my stats say it can be killed.


    From what u describe, maybe whats happening is that the other player was using CD's to blow up your torps.


    But re the bugged Shroud and Karak, i dont think so.


    Its more likely to be your connection as both these ships have been on CF for a long time without problems.

  • Missile spammers

    I think there is nothing wrong with having as many missiles as u want.


    However, if u have so many u lag other players then u are not giving them much of a chance to win.


    So where is the skill in that?


    If u like missiles/torps/cd then why cant u limit them to say 3 or 4 to stop lagging other fighters.


    If your good enough u will still win.

    In the same way there is a sliding scale of fees for pirate taxes why dont u have a list of fees for newbie players.


    U could ask OP to post them somewhere in the roleplay rules.


    That would encourage ppl to hire u for protection against pirating or personal attacks.

    when u first open FL (after activating the mod , etc) u need to wait awhile till the multiplayer button becomes active.


    The recent patches are loaded during the wait , i think.


    When the button becomes active , well off u go .
