this + the new Lag Reduction Kit that i will build in the next weeks will for sure help increasing the number of playersHuor already has started the work on some new FLhook features (RP features) and improvements on other features which also will improve the performance.
except a few RP features (such as the ship restriction to specific licences or repuations or the Reputation adjustments based on the licences) meanwhile everything has been activated
there are still some issues remaining which crash the server but that does not happen often anymore and we will get that fixed soonthe dx9 support is something we will be working on

My old PC (still working) also runs CF...
Now it costs like 20 $ by 2nd hand pieces(but it was arround 400$ 6-7 years ago), as it's 1.6 Ghz, 1024 DDR(1 or 2) ram, originally 80 GB HDD, and meh, the rest are just details
i own a laptop that has dualcore amd 2.4ghz, 1gb ram and 160gb hdd... i really dunno about the graphics.

I FINALLY MADE IT!!!!!!
I cleared the registry a dozen times and after that i fkn WORKED!

This is how i made it work:
CCleaner( clear registry )
Install Freelancer
Restart PC
Install FLMM 1.3
Restart PC
CCleaner ( clear registry again )
Install CF 1.9
Restart PC
PLAY! -
btw i have 2 installations so if this one sux i will try the other one that worked on mine laptop 100% bcuz i played it...
i downloaded the last one when 1.9 came out on ModDB
so i will try once more
Dear Duck, must be some important part missing in ur installation or cleaning mess in ur PC...just go in a long walk and try again later!Solution is always easy (when u find it)
