Not really. your FL finds the .ini file and just follows it. Anyways, it were the Textures. You probably had them on 0.40-0.60, where white textures appear. It just changed to 1.00 and thats it

Me and Forlon discussed something which i think SHOULD and WOULD raise RP and Competition between all RP parties. Add Top10 for RP. Top10 Mercenaries (Kills, Earned Money) Top10 Cops (Caught smugglers,killed pirates) Top10 Pirates (Most money pirated, killed people) Top10 Smugglers (Smuggled cargo (Tons), Smuggled Cargo ($$$) ) It would have to be a big change to the FLHook and should require alot of lines to be added. But lets look to the positive side. It'll bring more people. More people = More RP. More RP = More Competition. More competition = Even more RP = Even more people trying to RP. That just goes on and on and on. That's just mine (and Forlons i think) two cents.
