(sorry if these were already brought up elsewhere) 8o

The AT(Armored Transport) also suffers from the old BS(Battleship) bug where it can't mount any of its turrets.

    It never happened before.

And I really don't think it should be occuring since the Mod options can only be changed when you activate the Mod(your character, juni, background sound, hud color, and menu backdrop, Open SP) which means if you want to try out the other options you have to deactivate the mod and reactivate.

I find it kind of hard to believe that OP intended for the player to have to reinstall Freelancer everytime they wanted to change a few cosmetic aspects in the game(especially since there are no previews or pics of the various characters and backgrounds) as well as the Open Sp mode .

Okay there is something seriously wrong with the mod.

    I installed a clean Freelancer.
    Restarted my computer
    Applied the official 1.1 patch
    Applied the SDK 1.3 patch
    Installed the Mod Manager.
Unzipped Crossfire 1.6 to the Mod directory.
Applied Crossfire 1.6 using the Mod Manager.

Now everything works to this point correctly.
I can play Crossfire just fine, etc.

Now the issue pops up when you try to unapply the Mod.
There are apparently several files that are unable to be unapplied which causes an error prompt that tells you to revert to the backup files.

This error in the ability to unapply the patch breaks the Freelancer install(causes Freelancer to crash at startup with a prompt for the Freelancer CD) and will not allow you to play regular Freelancer or re-apply CF 1.6(gets another error to revert to backup).

Yeah that is pretty optimistic with only 10 Beta Testers tasked with exploring every system, station, and planet in Freelancer/Crossfire.

Plus add on top testing all the weapons, ships, and the various ship upgrades.

Then on top of that make sure the bad guys weapons, ships, and AI work properly.

That is quite a bit of work for only 10 people to do and do it right in such a short amount of time.

So I would expect the Beta Test to take more like a month to do right if OP-R8R wants to release a somewhat bug free mod.
