    Firstly, I am interested what you say OP, that's untrue what you said.
    I just needed to get things off of my chest, and now i feel better in reading your replies, all replies.
    If its the way its gonna be, then so be it, I have learned a lot today, thank you.


    Perhaps I was a bit rash in my posts and i appologise, but thats just me blowing off a little steam. ;)


    I have a lot of catching up on 1.9 to do, so best if i play b4 i say.

    Meh, Nice Forlon, just proves my point.
    So as long as we say nice things about this mod then ppl like you or Griffin wont delete them.
    So freedom of speech is not right on a FORUM such as this.

    In my last post i meant, more ships, more missions, more systems.
    Most of that we got, but the other stuff was making it impossible to do TRADE, MINING, etc..etc

    Ok, gonna do a fresh install now of Crossfire and make an exception in AVG for it.
    As we know any dll that gets changed through the mod re-writing/updating it, sometimes AVG
    and other progs think its getting attacked and gives out false warnings ( as Op said :P )


    Just that it alarmed me so because i run a VERY tight ship on my computer, and i am careful
    what i download.


    Anyhow, looking forward (hopefully) seeing you guys online soon. ;)

    Wil try that soon, AVG forum says its a type of maleware virus, but i am not sure.


    Ok fresh install of freelancer, then Crossfire, fingers crossed eh!! lol

    Hi all, its been a long time.


    Ok, started the start up for Crossfire, it started to update files as it normally does when you want to play MP,


    AVG kicked up and detected a Trojan Virus from the server whilst it was updating the files.


    file is called Trojan Horse Agent3.BLJG, it attacks one of freelancers dlls (can't remember which)
    which prevents you activating the mod, and flags up as a serious Virus in AVG.


    This Trojan effects ALL mods be it Crossfire Disco, ect...


    I can't get rid of it, so its a total re-format for me. :(


    Just wanna know if anyone else has had this problem??

  • All Systems Are Go!!

    As you may of heard, my Graphic's Card packed up.
    Well i am pleased to say that my old computer has a new lease of life
    with it's shiny Brand new nVidia GeForce 9400 GT, cost me £48 on Ebay. :thumbsup:


    So I hope to be back on this weekend to continue where I left off.
    LNAW may be down........But not OUT :P

    Seriously, my graff card has just packed up............. :(
    Must have hexed myself talking about Nvidia the other day.........lol


    Weeeellllll,,,, she was 5yrs old, and i had lots of fun with her, so it had to happen.
    So i will not be playing much on Crossfire until i sort it out.
    Even with this new laptop which does not have Nvidia built in may not be good enuff for Xfire.
    Not what i want to do anyhow.


    Off now to do some web surfing for a new one, i hope they are too dear.

    Yes i quite agree with you, Alienware M18x is my Dream laptop and sports some great hardware.
    Nvidia bought out 3DFX way back late 90's early 2000, and also Voodoo as well I think?


    Most game house's opt to use Nvidia for their game platforms as the architecture is more easier, Radeon i'm not sure about.
