I have a few thoughts that might be useful.

1) Discarded players do not see the system's warning about detecting a cheat, only other players in the game can see it. It would be nice to resolve this issue, as it would reduce the number of auto-bans. Additionally, it would be helpful to identify the specific files that caused the ban, if it is not too technical. This would allow for faster troubleshooting.

2) It would be beneficial to add key controls on bases, such as flipping through sections, lists of items and equipment, adjusting the selected quantity, and confirming operations. Played Space Rangers 2 - very user-friendly interface, a lot of things can be done without using a mouse and keys under one hand.

3) It would be nice to make planetary gates more versatile for docking all ships - for example, integrate the Mooring Fixture module instead of using it separately, which would expand the capabilities of BS and Train. It's frustrating that some systems don't allow landing

  • and another thing: a couple of years ago, there was a mention, possibly related to another mod, that you can use a command to send your resources and equipment to a friendly warehouse and get them back when you need them. This is a very useful feature, in my opinion. Alternatively, you can set up a personal hangar on basic planets like Murmansk and Manhattan to store your ships and valuable equipment, which can be purchased. However, this is more complex in terms of modding.

  • 1) not possible. Once a ban happens the connection to the server is terminated and therefore no messages can be sent. Furthermore is it not possible to identify specific files (unless it is checked for these specific files). The mod has ~21.000 files. Checking them via server individually would require to let the server check hundred thousands of files per minute for all players and communicate the results with the clients. No hardware or internet connection can handle that while also running a game. Futhermore would it be a security risk to tell players which specific files are monitored. Cheaters would then simply use not monitored files instead.

It is much better to handle it the way we currently do and create checksums for entire folders and groups of files.

    2. Yes, it certainly would be nice. But the FL engine does not allow this.

    3. Possible but it would ruin the entire market balance then trains could dock nearly everywhere and exploit price difference with their huge cargo holds.

    4. Members of clans can store certain stuff on clan bases. This feature already exists but is limited to clans only.

Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.
