install patch 1.7a, sometimes its a bit fiddly, wait for the launcher to update itself, restart launcher then 1.54 should be on the top. if it dont say 1.54 then dont go into game until it does because it causes problems for others. reinstall patch again, open launcher and it should say 1.54

@Saxon: sorry, but u forgot in ur list to start singleplayer one time between the two launcher starts

but soon the new crossfire setup is tested and released this will stop...
