Can't hit anything in the first mission

    Hey!

    I downloaded the mod today and started the single player campaign. I simply can't hit the enemy ships because my sight just moves too quickly and I can't follow the enemy ships at all. Thus I am not able to fight at all. It is not that the mouse sensivity would be too high, it is just that my sight moves too much for even the tiniest moves of my mouse.

    It can't be just because I suck in this game, because I played a long time ago original game through and 2019 or 2020 also this mod. This is totally new install though.


    So I think there could be some kind of problem with my settings, but I have no idea, what is the problem. Any ideas here?

    what shader setting do you use?

    can you maybe post a screenshot from the game in space?

    I downloaded ReShade FX 5.9.2, maybe it helps. It asks for the rendering API Crossfire-Mod Launcher uses, which one is it?

    you can not install reshade by yourself

    The options you are looking for are directly on the launcher.

    It highly depends on the compatibility with your hardware.

    Is there a guide for all these settings? There seems to be so many technical things which I don't know anything about.

    for clarification:

    there is a shader option which adds a hudshift option which causes the screen to wobble around a bit when moving the mouse cursor. Its more immersive but of course not everybodies type of beer.

    It can be manually disabled on the shader options or a different shader can be used to get rid of it.
