There'are starwars ships in Crossfire?

There are no Star Wars ships in CF, there never will be imao, and if you use any mod in addition to CF you will be caught, flamed, and then banned (sry to be blunt, but I that's the answer in a nutshell). This is probably the most complex FL mod in existance, and adding another mod and going on the server almost always results in unfair advantages, bugs, or in the shippack's case most likely a server crash whenever you try to log on... which will obviously make a lot of people grumpy.

I hope you'll stick around anyway though, CF has a lot to offer and I'm sorry that it doesn't have your favorite ships in it :(.... maybe if you poke around a bit you'll find some ships that draw your fancy though

Everyone has their own favorite franchise that he or she wants to see wherever they go in gaming. We all think "yuck" about certain ship-sets, but we're also entitled to have our own, unique prefereances. It was a good question and I don't think we should discourage those sorts of queries with insults Laser.... imagine what would have happened if he decided not to post and tried it

@ Nel: I don't know if it will work in singleplayer. Be adventurous and give it a try. I don't think it'll work, but there's also a chance that it will. If it works you'll have Star Wars ships in Sirius with Starlancer ships in Altair and around X-3043. If you can get it to work have fun (*tries to imagine a TIE-Interceptor surviving a DK fleet in Menton* [rofl]). Sorry for assuming you were going to use it on the server btw... if it doesn't work you'll need to uninstall and reinstall the mod though. Have fun and I hope it works

i have been trying to mod my SP too (i normaly have a copy of the mods i am playing just for offline playing and haveing fun moding) but this ver of crossfire seems to have some kind of copy pretection no mater what i change it chashes my system and when ever i try to scan some of the dll files the same thing happens evin my virus checker can not scan them its fucked up so far the only thing i have been able to add are jump gates, i could understand if it was just a glitch due to fl explorer but i use note pad for moding :-/ o well single player is still fun evin when you dont have uber x 5000 super moded in guns

ok to finish this thread.... IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE THOSE STAR WARS SHIPS... THE CF CHEAT PROTECTION DOES PREVENT IT

just because you sed it could not be done i went and did it you might want to update that anticheat for a start you could tell the game not to work if the anti cheat is just not there at all and if its possible some kind of packet scanner as it only takes a pc tec with basic network training to know how to packet edit there own cheats

not to mention that you messed up the game... all the ids are gone

i know but i did realy not have the time to find the exact files to change so i just changed all the ones it could be i might fine tune it later then i can mix it with all my fav mods and play "super cool uber freelncer plus"

but on a side note you rely need to find out a way to stop people just packet editing all the people i have ever seen cheat on FL in the past year have been doing that and its becoming quite a pain on some servers

ur way to get around the anticheat does destroy half of the mod... not more... not less
it needs more to crack the anticheat

probaly but i just edit my save games when i want things in sp its the least time consumeing way and i have no real point in geting rid of it i just hate people saying that things can not be done (nothing is impossible :D)

Theres a mod for it out there but its yeck. Only the ships are good nothing else .
