logitech mmx 500/800 something seem good
-
yep.. MX 500 preferred by many Quakers ;P
how about the Boomslang 2100??
-
don't know. i have only my "classical" logitech optical and it works fine
-
i have a logitech optical mouse with scroll wheel, pretty good some more buttons would be nice tough
-
Jesus!! £40 for the MX 500 grrr...it does look pretty sweet tho.
any1 with a slightly cheaper suggestion?
-
well the cheaer ones dont have 5 buttons, only 3buttons (one of em is the wheel)
just make sure its optical
-
i think 40£ are okay. the quality comes with the price =P
my next mouse will cost about 70 o_O, but with a pr0-mousepad included ;P -
everglide are good mouse pads
-
my intelly explorer is running on an EG_pad
but Rat-Pads are also good... especially cos they are very large. such one will come along with the "Boomslang 2500".

If you want I good mouse you must pay for it (my mouse is one of the more expensive parts of my computer (exept the mother board an the monitor))
I would recomend logitech mauseman dual optical sensor, but it has 4 buttons -
just bought mouse+pad 2 weeks ago
the logitech mx500 is great it has 5 configurabe buttons+ scroll wheel and its presion is exellent for games
also i brought a func mouse pad, surface 1030 and everglide is crap if you compare it with it, its the best mouse mat in the world the reviews said and its true
regarding boomslang, i dunno they only have 2 buttons including mouse wheel and they are ball mice which is crap
-
well ive been using optical for ages...tis the only way to go. But i dont use a mat atm, dont really see the need
-
a mat helps with preision and sliding of the mouse
