  • Only 2 pc's to work with - well, to be exactly, just 1..... my wife uses the other one. But then again, one pc is enough for freelancer. The 700 GB is nice for storage :)

with the new logitech drivers you should be able to use the extra buttons

  • may i ask y? i mean currently i use middle button for torps, and my thought was i could use the extras for missiles/mines/CMs. surely in combat not having to think which button on the keyboard to press would give u an extra advantage??

  • Because i have my keyboard controls set up differently mainly because i'm left handed and most games are set up for right handed people.[953]

  • well i always change my controls

    / is after burn
    . cut engine
    , reverse engine
    l level ship
    } alternate cruise
    corsor keys for strafe+ speed
    mouse wheel speed
    middle mouse nearest enemy

    etc etc

  • if i was left handed id use the arrow keys...as it is i feel too cramped on them...

anyway...[689] again...shouldnt the last few posts here be moved to tactics or something? (and yeh, i KNOW i started it [12] )

    firstly...im getting the NF7 for £20 off a mate :D:D:D

second...that the proc i want, and thats the speed i wanna run it at. are u using the retail fan? and wat temp is it at?

  • Firstly u need the nf7-s versionn 2 to guarentee 400fsb,
secondly u need a slk800 themalite heatsink to keep the temperature down, most important though is the airflow to your pc.
Thirdly if u can get a temp of 41.5 then ur on track for a good overclock :D
If u wanna go all out the barton will overclock to a athlon3600+ but u need supercooling, but it does work :D:D:D

  • well atm i have a thermaltake 9, and not overclocking my CPU. it runs at 45C max...which seems a little higher than it should but hey, ive turned the fan down so i can actually hear myself think
