When Playing CF

    It is not cool, nice, kosher and is certainly disrespectful for players to have other programs, mail services, anti-virus programs , cd music and some voice-over programs running while on CF. :evil:


    It is also not permitted to be providing a lan for several members or friends of yours to connect to FL.

    Example:     I am connected to CF and 4 of my friends are linked to me, in order to gain access to CF. This causes SEVERE lag and is also in violation of Server Use . 8o


    If you cannot understand the above, contact an SP or the Admin and we can assist you in understanding this in a very simple way. :evil:


    This causes lag and ruins the game for everyone else.

    ehm wel i am on a lan with my dad and little sister (thats all) and i got another small problem ... i can't connect to server with any of the computers ... why ??

    @ Destroyer: Might be a firewall / router problem. Look around the forums for help on that.


    @ Gunny: So does that mean that we aren't allowed to run WMP whilst playing CF?


    Just asking... I've done it in the past, but I never thought it could cause lag. Next time I'll use my MP3 player :)

    When you want to curse and swear, don't despair, use some flair. Be creative with your words, and enjoy the whole affair!

    If you want a personal advice, you shouldn't use WMP at all, playing CF or not. It takes a lot of system resources, and the playback is just as good (sometimes worse) than Winamp. And you can't assign keys to it, while you can with Winamp.

    I use VLC for anything I play on my cpu. It is free, doesnt consume much and for me is the best thing out there to play video and music at low system resource cost :)

    Im using vlc too, coz it is working with every audio and video data format you want...exept of mp4 :(
