Yeah, and now I'm going to play it all over again and push for... well, not 100% completion, but close.

...and that would also include some irritating things like that one escort mission. And, well... the start or Route C. *shudders*.

The rumble of the engines and the trundle of the wheels,
Through hell and horror trudge and yet their spirits never yield.
Will they sing of these forsaken pawns of war?"

  • Outer worlds ? Naah, OUTER WILDS !

And, well... the start or Route C. *shudders*

I am rooting for you ! Resist the... madness :)

    "Life piled on life

Were all too little, and of one to me

Little remains: but every hour is saved

From that eternal silence, something more,

A bringer of new things; and vile it were

For some three suns to store and hoard myself,

And this gray spirit yearning in desire

To follow knowledge like a sinking star,

Beyond the utmost bound of human thought."

Madness is a good word to describe that story arc. Another apt description would be "Machine Lifeforms sent their regards".

From the other side it was also fun (in a black comedy sort of way) back when my brother-in-law (on whose PS4 I'm playing N;A) took a peek on me playing Route C and asked "Wait, where's 2B?".

(His reactions in general are another source of fun. "Stop hacking these mooks like a total nerd, be a man and use that friggin sword.")

  • Stop hacking these mooks like a total nerd, be a man and use that friggin sword

But I like hacking into despaired mad AI's :(

Btw, play Outer Wilds, if you haven't. I cant recommend it enough!

Especially when it's one despairing mad AI hacking into others.

Then again, AFAIK supplementary materials claim it's the only method of attack for Scanners (since they are "non-combat" models). 9S (who's already quite destructive) bootlegged his own combat protocols - which is why he actually holds a weapon only in cutscenes.

    I'll look it up eventually.

This one is because Heart of Deimos is coming out tomorrow.

  • Probably one of my most favorite WoWS tracks. Quite fitting when you're on a Destroyer and trying to dive-attack a Battleship. 0:47 is when target's secondary battery opens up. 1:18 is when you narrowly avoid a HE blast from its main guns. 1:33 is when you turn to the side and 1:44 is when you sling off couple of torp spreads at a range where there's no way in Void the target can evade those.

(Naturally doable only in co-op, but eh)

Asking for fire again? Still got some fire. A nuclear fire.

  • This could have been handy a couple of posts ago.

3:44 - 3:58 is probably my favorite cutscene in the whole game. I think 9S's paycheck is always cut to compensate all that damage to flight units he pilots.

  • Flak Battlefield 1, this song just as well works as a generic anti-war anthem.

...what are the odds of Sabaton covering this? :D
