server crash

    to Evilcaster: the server has been crashing more recently due to the fact that OP


    has been trying to upgrade/change the way the server loads and stuff. he is attemting to


    reduce lag with this, so just be patient, it will be up shortly :)

    well i wasent complaing or anything and i appretiate what OP is doing


    and the rest of crossfire crew ... i was just wondering :)

    crossfire for 3:00 hours and i can already say this is hands down the BEST mod i have ever


    seen so i would just like to say thx to all the crossfire staff :P

    it's amazing that one person could make such a


    brilliant mod, yet other, lesser mods required a team of people

    its still running the original CF1.56 on the server...without the


    changes... but this will change



    im working on a major deepscanning procedure to


    find problems which could cause lag
    i was not able to do this before the release of


    cf1.56 coz i just had not time... the server was offline enough and to get it running had


    highest priority


    i will finish the scans this evening and try create CF1.56b which


    will come with a small update (no nothing to worry about... it will be tested very carefully


    and shouldnt cause any problems like CF1.55)

    I did notice that


    everytime I logged off yesterday, my pc locked up. I assume that's a temporary situation,


    but even if it is, it's not a big deal. Even with my anemic 450mhz processor, I'm having


    fun.
