More than 1 year Crossfire

    i just had a small


    talk with newpol about the mod and the history


    and i just realized that Crossfire is


    already 1 year and 2 months old
    in the history of FL there never was a server that was


    that successful over such a long time and able to reach 40 players online after all the


    time
    and it looks like Crossfire still can be online for another year without


    problem

    This server wouldnt work so long if it wasnt working well.

    Congrats Op. It's a helluva mod. An ambitious project well executed. Now


    if I can only get a processor upgrade or a new pc for Christmas, I may be able to enjoy it


    in MultiPlayer.

    The Heretic is the first really great fighter you can fly as you progress in money and skill

    NO, I've been on the server, but had trouble with it due to my anemic processor. So I


    play mainly SP. I was thinking of givin MP another try, but have been unable to log on.



    Op, what would you say is the minimum processor speed necessary for a smooth Multiplayer


    experience?

    The manual makes no reference


    to processer speed. The setup screen during installation says the minimum recommended is


    600mhz, but it will continue installation at my meager 450mhz.
