  • We’re very excited to reveal the T6 versions of the Odyssey, Scimitar and Bortasqu’. Each type comes in three variants. Each variant of these powerful starships features a Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command Bridge Officer seat and has a unique console and Starship Trait.

    Availability

These Flagships will be made available in the C-Store very soon. These starships have three variants and are available in three ways:

    Individually
Faction bundles of all three variants
A Super bundle that includes all three variants for all three factions

    Items and Abilities

    Engineering Variants

These variants feature the Adaptive Emergency System Universal Console and the Adaptive Hull Plating Starship Trait.

    Engineering Variant Ship Classes:

Operations Star Cruiser [T6] – Sojourner Class
    Kahless War Battlecruiser [T6]
    Shamshir Operations Dreadnought Warbird [T6]

Console – Universal – Adaptive Emergency Systems

Each Engineering variant Flagship comes equipped with the Adaptive Emergency Systems Universal Console. When activated, it provides a substantial boost to damage and damage resistance for a short time. This console's effects are increased by 50% if the starship's current hull hit points are below 50%.

This console also provides a passive bonus to Max HP and Energy Damage Resistance.

This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.

    Adaptive Hull Plating (Starship Trait)

After achieving level 5 in your Engineering variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Adaptive Hull Plating Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, activating any Hull Healing or Command Bridge Officer Ability will boost your maximum hull hit points for a short time. This effect stacks up to 3 times.

    Science Variants

These variants feature the Dampening Wave Emitter Universal Console and the Check Mate Starship Trait.

    Science Variant Ship Classes:

Science Star Cruiser [T6] – Yorktown Class
    Gorkon Science Battlecruiser [T6]
    Flambard Science Dreadnought Warbird [T6]

Console – Universal – Dampening Wave Emitter

Each Science variant Flagship comes equipped with the Dampening Wave Emitter Universal Console. When activated, your starship will emit a Violent Dampening Wave that will disable nearby ships, cause minor radiation damage over time, and dramatically reduce their damage output for a short time.

This console also provides a passive bonus to Maximum Shield Hit Points.

This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.

    Check Mate (Starship Trait)

After achieving level 5 in your Science variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Check Mate Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, activating a control Bridge Officer ability will provide a boost to your Exotic Damage and Projectile Weapon damage for a short time.

The following science abilities are classified as control Bridge Officer abilities:

    Jam Sensors
    Tractor Beam
    Tractor Beam Repulsors
    Scramble Sensors
    Gravity Well
    Photonic Shockwave

    Tactical Variants

These variants feature the Tactical Flagship Computer Universal Console and the Super Charged Weapons Starship Trait.

    Tactical Variant Ship Classes:

Tactical Star Cruiser [T6] – Endeavor Class
    Martok Tactical Battlecruiser [T6]
    Khopesh Tactical Dreadnought Warbird [T6]

Console – Universal – Tactical Flagship Computer

Each Tactical variant Flagship comes equipped with the Flagship Tactical Computer Universal Console. When activated, this console's ability will provide a substantial increase to flight speed, turn rate and weapons firing rate for your team for a short time.

This console also provides a passive bonus to Directed Energy Damage.

This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.

    Super Charged Weapons (Starship Trait)

After achieving level 5 in your Tactical variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Super Charged Weapons Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, firing a torpedo will provide a stack of the Super Charged buff. This buff provides a boost to directed energy weapon damage, critical hit chance and critical severity for a short time. This buff stacks up to 3 times.

Look for a follow-up blog in the near future that will detail the stats on these new Tier 6 starships!

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • tactical's console might make it worthwhile to acquire this ship .. not sure tho if it can be equipped on non-odyssey ships. as for the traits, they'll be primarily useful to projectile users

  • yes projectile users
problem is that the traits dont fit to this ship

these ships are slow turning and by default pure beam boats
under normal conditions you dont use projectiles on them

  • I am wondering if i should buy zen now or wait for dil sinks to kick in.

the large bundle costs 10.000 zen this weekend
i still have 500 on my account

so buying 9500 with dilithium would cost me around 3,2 mio at the current exchange rates
but if many people trade dil the exchange rates might change due to the less dil on the market

  • from what i've seen so far, dil exchange rates only go up whenever something new hits the market (new ships, discounts, new lockbox, ...)
the only time rates actually went down was during the the release of Research lab
but in most cases they also put ships on a 20% discount, but since the last discount was like 1-1.5 month ago, probably they wont offer any discounts this time
but anyway .. 3.2mio dil ... maybe i'll get the ships around the Xmas time xD

  • well, fleet holdings used to consume alot of dil and everytime the dil prices for zen dropped
with less dil on the market it simply become more valuable.

the t6 flagships might have a similar impact as they would consume high amounts of dil on the market
and that are truely ships that many people are waiting for

the 3.2mio are ok for me... id still have about 5.5mio left on my account
but... even a small improvement of the exchange rates might mean to save a few hundred thousand dil
