    Win 10 is weird. If u didnt install a certain tool(which it will automatically want u to do the first time u try to open CF MP, at least for me anyway) u get the following

    don't get me wrong hour now, i'm happy to hear that, but you are using soon to often xd.

    windows 10
    upgraded yesterday



    while all my old programs seem to run like before windows 10 made major issues after the upgrade


    it started with not being able to open the startmenü or interacting with the explorer
    task manager opened but instantly stopped responding
    updating graphic drivers instantly crashed that setup


    these issues got fixed after 7-8 restarts (dunno why)


    remaining issues:
    i cant do desktop settings since it tells me that the windows function has no program assigned O_o
    my mouse cursors keep hiding behind active windows and the start menu so i have go guess where im clicking
    several windows functions simply do not respond when i want to launch them



    from first look windows 10 is compatible with everything except its own functions




    oh and the black task bar pisses me off (ive a very dark desktop background by default... now i dont see where the desktop ends and the taskbar starts)

    for gods same windows 10 has some repair functions
    everything working now



    except FL
    got the directply stuff and it tells me that it cant install it now

    ok after a restart its working (looks like every problem can get solved with restarts)

    I just upgraded like 5 PCs from 7 and 8.1 to 10 and had no problems (but with my media creation tool sticky stick). Even CF works without problems (but i have a "portable" Freelancer installation and a "portable" CF installation ... so it works everytime on ANY pc ... really ... even VMs :P

    You could install it inside a sandboxie (incl. acc manager & Mod manager) and them carry the Sandboxie around you which could be stored in your USB stick

    A small update.


    The final release will delay a bit. I think its best to do a few tests with the clan bases first since that also requires some patching of the clients in the end.
    We will need a test clan which helps us getting the tests done.


    The final release of the mod will contain like already announced a bit additional content.
    A new high-end shader.
    a few additional ships
    if time allows it even a new bonus mission


    We also have completely rebuild the installer software and tested it with countless of different settings on various OS versions (and their security settings). This new installer is by far more reliable in all tested environments and conditions.
    The final release will contain all so far done patches including the latest launcher version. This will minimize the risk of installation problems for the end user.

    Just install everything ... and COPY the FL Folder to a differnt direction
