Crossfire 1.9 crashes after Mission 20 (?), when Nomad Carrier was destroyed

Hi,

I have a major problem with Crossfire 1.9. I am playing the Crossfire campaign and in Mission 19 (or 20?) of Chapter 2, I have to fight against this Nomad Strike Carrier. So far so good, but when the carrier has been blown to dust, suddenly Freelancer crashes and I have to restart it. The major problem: the game crashed, before it could do auto save after the destruction of the carrier.

Does anyone have the same problem? I am using Windows 7, Freelancer is english version, patched to 1.1, all installations were made properly.

How can I fix this?

I only want add (as is also in thread given by Fox) that if you anytime encounter such problem you described, then is the best way use latest MISSION save. This will assure that all mission trigers will work as they should. Such crashes happen bcs were triggers messed (can happen using player saves or autosaves).
