Hey guys. I've been trying to reinstall CF again but as long as I recall, it's the first time I try it on my laptop. Anyway I have 2 issues, one regarding installation and the other is about trying to launch it.
So the first one being the launching crash, I will specify the second because I think it has to do with the launch, anyways, things go like this. I've been trying for the 4th time to install the mod (Even reinstalled the Windows - yup that desperate to play CF :D) because it fails to launch. It has some odd behaviours, as in I can launch sometime the game, get into the menu, even log in ! But when I hit launch it just does a CTD. Then after I try to get again in the game, it crashes before reaching the menu.
I have 2 errors identified, one was DACOM.dll, the faulted module but apparently that wasn't the issue.

So as you can see, I don't quite know what to actually do about it. Tried every possible thing. Installation was not the problem. But the source of the whole error might be because on installation, when I reach a file to be copied (a starsphere I guess) my HDD fails and get BSoD. So I then resume the installation. It goes with success but I guess that the interruption might cause these glitches. Also I noticed a graphical glitch when I selected as background in the menu one of the Stories, the characters were just floating into space with no other objects around. Pretty weird.
