Location of SP saved games

There are 3 replies in this Thread. The last Post () by Michael.

    Recently the Crossfire server has been unavailable a few times and I've bagan the singleplayer campain which is like revisiting an old friend :)
    I just wondered where the save game files go as I want to include them in backup and I can see that they no longer appear in the Documents\My Games\Freelancer folder.

    Hmm, that's unusual, the server was availabe every hour of the day in at least the last 2 weeks which I personally checked.


    There were no crashes/unplanned-restarts either, except 1 on Friday, and 2 in the last 3 hours, but they just take like 30 seconds.



    Anyway, you can find your own save files at My Documents -> My Games -> Freelancer -> Accts (from Accounts) -> Singleplayer


    There inside you got your Autosave, and the savexxxx files.

    I just realised that because of Windows UAC my saved games were located in the admin users documents folder - stupid me.
