i dont konw why but i believe in that man...leaves me a positive impression.
Quite opsite than RSI WC SC saga bla bla bla => give me money! -
Sounds VERY much the same as Chris Roberts, ...
but looks MUCH MORE TRUSTWORTHY with the mans and his companys background. Now we have TWO "old/ancient" space sim creators who will "perfect" their old times games
with the possibilities of todays technology - and for MP.
With the difference, that one of them
HAS BEEN ACTIVE in making games over the last years.Seems 2014 will be a grat year with space sims comming back massivly (esp if we take the CF-new engine sequel also into account) .

I think that both the game, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous, probably will be very interesting.
And perhaps could make forget CF, for me, 'cause they surely will support joystick, and so, for me will be more interesting and realistic to play ............. If I'll have still will to play a game ....Lately I played Evochron Mercenary ; very cool, great game .... very realistic ........ but its universe is very little compared to CF.
I remember that one of the first thing I asked to OP was if CF could be converted to play it with joy, and he replied that without the "source code" is impossible (if I remember well).
In Cockpit view, of course. -

@ Rexor
I luckily got my hands on a SAITEK Cyborg X joystick recently. ... WITH the programming software to emulate mouse movings
.
If I get some time (whenever this will be :hechel: ) to fumble around with it and replace mouse 'n keyboard for FL (should then also work in CF),
I will give you a call, so that you might consider STAYING with CF.
Unfortunatly can't think of another way to get joystick control to CF.
-
Wow !!!
Great !!
Thanks !!!However I think that probably freelancer will be better with the mouse, because is born in this way ; anyway give it a try, if you can. Perhaps I'm pessimist and it will be good.
At that point should be good have illuminated cockpits.
Don't be in a hurry for me ! .................. Also there's a lot of time before those games will be released ; so surely I'll stay here, now.I got a Logitech 3D Extreme.

Had THEM once also.
(tried almost every joystick available, beside the big flight controllers with two handles and dozens of pinky hats, buttons 'n stuff. .. too expensive)Managed to break 2 of them....BY GAMING with them.
