ship mod and autosave

    Is it possible to include a different mod ship in crossfire 1.9?

    Does anyone knows if it is possible to rename the .fl Auto Save file?

  • MP -No. - There is no way that the server will know about this ship.
    SP - Yes



    Yes - Using File Explorer. That wil cause a new file to be generated by FL.

    I wll try File Explorer for SP (you mean Freelancer Explorer, right?) to edit my auto save files.


    About putting a mod ship into Crossfire 1.9, do you think the mod ship packs available in this site work with the mod?


    Could you be kind enough to explain me how and where I should put those files in the game?

    I have not tried to add mod ships to CF.


    There are various tutorials all over the internet on how to add ships to a mod. It's not a 10 minute job.

    Hope it helps you get started.


    REMEMBER. Once you add ships to your SP, you cannot use that installation to play MP any more.
