cant get into 2 acounts

    Hey i got me a new computer. so i instaled windows xp pro sp3 . updated it. then freelancer and crossfire mod. now i cant get into 2 acounts of me of wich i still have the keys of. is there any way to recover them on this pc ?


    i use flidc and have mod manager 1.31 instaled. it all worked fine on all computers i used so far .


    hope i didnt loose my schips and creds with all weaponry and things. friendly greets from,

    hmm maybe the keys aren't right also bare in mind if you have two ids with an account per id so the following id/account&id/account you will need to change id's when you want to use them.
    Also export your Freelancer id from your windows registry from your old PC this is is pretty straight forward, open up regedit go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\1.0. Right click 1.0 in the left bar then click export, type in a file name for it and click save.
    Then copy it to your new PC double click the exported registry file and run Freelancer.:)

    I have my 2 keys writen down on paper from my old computer. so i know the keys are corect since they worked always.


    1 key have 4 ships and some good creds and the other char have the bigest tradin vesel i found so far with 2500 cargo it also has some good creds stored.


    i would like the keys since starting up all over again will be much efort and great pain.

    I want ask: Accept CF your IDs you wrote down? If yes, they are empty? When you last time used yours IDs? How you insert your IDs to CF?


    If CF do not accept your IDs then you probably wrote them down bad or insert them bad. (like difference between 0 and O)


    If CF accept and no chars there I fear your chars were corrupted and deleted ... then your only and last chance is politely ask OP in pm. Is possible copy content from old ID to new one.


    I for rewrite IDs use 'Freelancer ID changer' -> delete actual ID -> restart game -> start MP and write ID


    Try pls things above, if nothing works, I will try help you with moneys/equip.

    Well after a lot of trying and fideling in and around my computers i finaly managed to get the keys working agian.
