Need Help with CrossFire 1.9

    Ok, I need help with getting crossfire to work on my computer which is Windows Vista basic addition, I know nothing about how mods work, outside of I downloaded the Crossfire 1.9 mod for game, but would like some help via AIM or MSN Messenger help on showing me what needs to be done to get it to work properly.

    Any help would be appreciate as I am a computer novice and would rather not mess around with something I dont understand and mess up my computer by accident.

    no just everytime I open FLMM 1.31 with it, and then try to play Freelancer. All of the words in the game get shrunk down to very minuscule size and cant even leave Manhattan in SP story m
    mode.



    Also I' dont wanna do anything that could fuck up my game permanently , as I got no experience in doing what the guides say.

    that fixed the Font, but, cannot get the game to access Multiplayer, it also keeps saying there is a error in the /mods folder of FLMM whenever FLMM 1.31 is running and don't know how to fix either problems.

    Hm, it seems that you have a corrupted installation.


    Try this:


    1. Uninstall Freelancer & Crossfire using Revo Uninstaller (after uninstall , scan for leftover files and delete them)
    2. Uninstall FLMM from its folder
    3. Delete the remaining Freelancer folder located in Documents / My Games
    4. Use Advanced SystemCare to clean up afterwards


    5. Install Freelancer and after installation , restart your PC
    6. Install FLMM 1.31
    7. Install the Crossfire Mod
    (Note: The FLMM and the CF Mod must be in the same location as the mod is getting installed within the FLMM)
    8. Open FLMM and activate CF ( ignore the " Not Responding " message )
    9. Right Click on FL's icon Properties / Compatibility / Run under Windows XP SP3
    10. Wait for the updates to download and play


    And if something is still blocking you from accessing the Multiplayer , check your Firewalls and set up an Exclusion Rule for FL
