  • report from dependency walker:
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.
    error opening msjava.dll

    what to do?

  • downloaded msjava.dll and put it in the windows system32 directory

    running dependency walker again...
    1 warning remaining:
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

in the FAQ of dependency walker:
Some versions of SHLWAPI.DLL (like the one on Windows XP) have a delay-load dependency on the function WNetRestoreConnectionA in MPR.DLL. Missing delay-load functions are not a problem as long as the calling DLL is prepared to handle the situation. Dependency Walker flags all potential problems as it cannot detect if an application intends to handle the issue. In the case of SHLWAPI.DLL, this is not an problem as it does not require WNetRestoreConnectionA to exist and handles the missing function at runtime. This warning can be ignored.

    sigh....

  • dunno exactly, i have tried several options while activating
i have a radeon x1650 display adapter so graphics shouldn't be an issue
i will try one activation with all graphics set to minimum to be sure...

  • Sorry if i ask again, you run did run the installation of crossfire. That installs the mod to the mod folder of flmm, you have a clean installation of freelancer (not a demo version) and the activation of crossfire 1.9 in flmm did run without any problems.

If that all matches then i dont have a clue whats going on on your side. Should work then normally.
