  • Warthog Games, a

British games developer, has released information on three forthcoming original titles for

current and next generation consoles and for the PSP. The company is using the information

to showcase its ability to create original content for new systems and to attract publishers

since none of the games are signed yet.

    Johnny Whatever

    The flagship title is

Johnny Whatever, a game alluding to the punk era, with a storyline hinting at the struggle

between the working classes and Margaret Thatcher, after all the enemy is called the Iron

    Lady.
The Iron Royals have enslaved the people of Lower London, Rock-N-Roll has been

outlawed and the Queen has been imprisoned in a vat of mustard while squads of Robo-Bobbies

terrorize the populace. Johnny Whatever, the unlikeliest of heroes is ripped from the

underground music scene and thrust into the conflict when his band mates, The Hooligans are

apprehended by a roving gang of the Iron Lady's goons. With the help of inventor Roland

Clockworks, Johnny sets out to save his friends, free the people and restore the true Queen

to power all in the name of Rock-N-Roll!

Johnny Whatever combines rock music and

pulse pounding action to deliver a completely unique style of game play where music is your

weapon. Players assume the role of Johnny Whatever, the reluctant hero whose guitar prowess

is unmatched by any in Lower London. Equipped with Nancy, a guitar equipped with a

Positronic Wave Amplifier, players freely roam the streets, stringing together power-chords

and Quick Riffs to blast enemies with decibels of destruction!

    The world of Johnny

Whatever is a vast and interactive landscape. Lower London and the surrounding areas are

filled with opportunities for the player to experience a unique blend of action and rock

music together for the first time.
Johnny Whatever is scheduled for release in Q4, 2006

and the platforms for the game have not yet been determined.

    Milo and the Rainbow

    Nasties

Take on the role of Milo Sable and his best friend Chamille (a color-shooting

chameleon) in this 3rd Person action adventure game. In a world drained of colour, use Milo

and Chamille's unique ability to paint characters and geometry, to take on Dr.Polymer and

the Rainbow Nasties. Bring the grim world back to full colour and make it come

    alive!!

Splat the evil Skelebobs back into the ground!! Turn mean and hungry zombies

back into local inhabitants!! Blast twisted trees and plants into luscious and beautiful

flora!! Youll be rewarded with new colours, incredible transformations and access to brand

    new areas!!

And you'll be painting your way to the final encounter.
    Milo is

described as a simple and addictive game for all ages and will be available for XBox, PS2,

    GameCube and PSP.

    Sticky Balls

In Sticky Balls, players are asked to cluster

together in a game which has elements of Tetris as well as of pool. Sticky Balls is played

on a table with a number of different colored balls. The player can shoot any of the balls

on the table, much like pool, rebounding of the edges or other balls. If the ball you shoot

touches another of the same color, then they will be permanently stuck together as a

cluster. When 7 same color balls are connected they disappear.

    Although simple

sounding, Sticky Balls seems very promising, especially since it has already become a part

of a University Degree course in game design. The game will be developed for the PSP.

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!
