So, i just wanted to ask if anything will happen to my MP Chars if i disable the Crossfire Mod to play around with other mods in SP. I just wanted to ask before risking it.

if you don't change PC nothing
ID remains there
but to be sure write your ID somewhere
Your chars are stored on the server and will stay there until a nuclear bomb EMP-pulse during the 3rd world war will delete them.
Or a char wipe before installation of the next CF version on the server. But probably not even that has to happen, thanks to OPs hard work.
But another advice : you canNOT just disable CF in FLMM, and switch to another mod or FL original. In that respect CF is very demanding. If you disable CF in FLMM your original FL-installation will NOT work.
The usual procedure : Deinstall everything related to Freelancer (perhaps save your gamesaves at another place), then reinstall. So far the FL-mods I've tried, only CF needs this procedure.
Anyway. Your char on the server will still be there when you return .
tactical wrong answers
to keep a player on the server you have to tell that all chars are going to be lost once you play another mod
its not neccessarily true but keeps the server population high
thanks

Minimizing colateral damage :
But your chars will be erased if you are inactive for too long !
My main question was actually, If i have to reinstall Crossfire, FLMM,Freelancer does my ID change or can i play again?
ID change can happen but doesn't have to, not when you still use the same PC or net.browser.
Best assurance : WRITE IT DOWN and pin it behind your monitor (or whereever you feel appropriate)
send it to you by email also, you'll be able to get it back from any computer later (in case you current PC crashes, breaks, catch fire, get stolen, etc....) sorry for the pessimistic plan....
