Issues running CF 1.81

Before starting, I'll state that I have been trying to resolve this myself for a week, having searched these forums and others and still having no success.

I cannot run CF 1.81. When trying to install it, more often than not it will get to the end and say the mod could not be activated, the log will give me the SHCopy Failed error. I've removed all Freelancer files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times. I've tried fooling around with the settings before running the mod, changing all the quality, renders, all that business. I've made sure to disable 3D sound. I still constantly get the error.

When I DO luck out and manage to get the mod set up, I try to start the game and it tells me it cannot find a 3D capable video adapter. This is strange for me because it runs FL Vanilla just fine, and my last laptop ran Crossfire perfectly.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, facepalm moment. I am running 1.82, got it mixed up with FLMM 1.31

Whenever I actually get the mod activated, I try to start the game and gives me the 3d card error. Issue being, there's no option to continue. The only button is "OK", and then it closes.

I seem to have gotten past the activating in FLMM issue, but still stuck at "Freelancer did not detect a 3D capable video adapter in your system. If you have a 3D capable video adapter installed please try rebooting. You may need to reinstall the game."

I've made sure my drivers are updated, Direct3D is enabled, still nothing. I'm on a Mobile Intel video card. Might the OpenGL settings be an issue? I can mess around with those. I'm going nuts trying to get this thing figured out, I haven't played Crossfire in a few years and am urgent to get back in action

Seem to have gotten it all sorted out. However, my mod launcher is not reverting to 1.56, will that be an issue?
