Hi i installed freelancer and flak 88 and patch 1.1 they worked fine no onsupported video card popup then i tried to shange res to 1980 -1020 ore whatever.
After doing this the Gui Was out side of my screen went to options put it back to normal res up there.
Now evry time i exit a base the geme crashes. so ok i wanne reinstall the uninstaller doesn' work so i manualy delete freelancer and freelancer mod maneger.
I dl Crossfire reinstall freelancer , mod maneger, install crossfire now when i start freelance it tells me my 3d video card is unsupported ? it shows purple screens inbetween the movies and then shuts down.
i reinstall freelancer whit uninstaller -> same thing happens:(

empty the savegames folder.

Yes, the savegame folders only affects the game which crashes at the menu, and not the videos, that's why the game crashes After the videos.
The purple images appear just before loading a video, they can apear but just for one second...
You surely still have the savegames from Flak 88, you don't have to play singleplayer, those files appear automaticly when you start the game, now, you have to delete them manually heh. Such files are saved at My Documents >> My Games >> Freelancer.

id like to make a note bout this. U can rename ur savegames folder for freelancer my documents > my games > freelancer(renameme) before you uninstall freelancer and all that stuff to keep ur saves then rename it back to freelancer. i recently tried this and i had no problems.

Yes, I also told that on other threads with the same topic... the most important thing is that people should use the Search feature or search by themselves in the freelancer boards before making 3 threads with the same topic.
