Some technical art

While i a newb to crossfire, I'm not to Freeelancer. These ships were made not to long ago but I don't have a 3D modeling program right now, these are are just rough sketches made for reference.
top: A Kriserian Fighter. This alien craft was found crashed in a nearby system by a clan called the Black Hand.
bottom: Kriserian Bomber. A powerful very heavy fighter with strong adamantine armor and capable of mounting near impenatrable sheilds. It's slolw but with two torpedo and mine mounts it's a force to be reckoned with. How this fighter was found is kept hush hush by the Black Hand. rumors fly around about a legendary "energy" torpedo that is carried by this reclusive ship.

I get alot of my ideas from insects and blades. There are a series of ships called the "hive" I'm working on. The tiers are:
Hive Swarm Fighter: a light fighter with only three relatively weak guns, armor, and sheilding but they travel in groups of 6 to 10 ships.
Hive Warrior: Heavy fighter. Acts mostly as either a vanguard fighter or escort.
Hive interceptor: gunship. Strong armor and weapons which include sheild destroying missiles make this the razor stinger of the Hive.
Hive Brood Ship: Battleship/Cruiser. same as above but 3 times tougher.
Hive Queen: Battleship/Destroyer. ALWAYS accompanied with 2 brood, 4 interceptor, and 3 wings of fighters. Normally seen before planets are consumed.

A good place to get ideas is looking at the ships and fighters for a game called warhammer 40K. i play as the TAU which have some sick looking gunships and skimmers. In fact, my avatar is a Tau XV84 crisis commander battlesuit I hand painted.

yes! A Tyranid Norn queen coupled with two Carnifex evolved for space fights and some space ravenors for protection. the chitinous bodies would also reflect well against the insect like dom'k'vash
