Connection problem - non firewall

    Whenever I try to connect to crossfire 24/7 I get a message suggesting that the server is down or there is an 'Internet problem'.


    I rooted through the fl readme and opened the correct ports just in case, however apparently to no avail.


    I'm running vist 32 bit and would appreciate any light that can be shed on the problem.

    I have the same problem/message. Vista 64.


    Dunno what ports to check nor how to open them.


    No router being used.

    In the original fl files readme it suggests that you need UDP ports 2302-2304 forwarded on the host machine but that it isn't necessary clientside. I only opened them 'just in case'.

    as you're doing your clean installs, make sure you run a registry cleaner like CCleaner to make sure you got rid of all of it. and like Burro said, make sure you follow the directions in order. if you still have issues, post again and we'll all pitch in to help.
