    Hi everyone, i've just downloaded the CF mod and it just keeps failing to activate, i got this message in the freelancer mod manager log book.


    Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.70 Client Edition'
    Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Games\Microsoft Games\Freelaner\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\pi_pirate5_head.dfm.flmmbak' to 'C:\Games\Microsoft Games\Freelaner\Freelancer\DATA\characters\heads\_pi_pirate5_head.dfm')


    I have NO idea what that means, so could anyone tells me whats up...

    use a clean installation of FL and the FLMM 1.31

    Have you checked the installation guide @ http://www.swat-portal.com/portal/download/CFguide.swf ?


    Made sure all previous save games deleted?


    It is usualy a good idea to uninstall Feelance and delete all related folders, then do a fresh install of FL.


    If you still have problems, then give us a few more details ie which OS you are using.
