Imo we should indeed put some efforts in redesign the layout. The header logo is very OK but too big - both on the portal and forum. The Forum main entry page should be redesigned too.
The Portal page should offer more information - also from current discussions on the forums, last threads or so. Currently we only have news in the middle section present...
