As i will have a bit more time once CF1.8 gets finished I intent to do some important updates to SWAT.
first the forum will get a major design update and a new standard style template that can even mess with modern forums
the structure wont change much but the look will
the SWAT front page (the portal) also will get a small update... how exactly that will look like is something i still have to figure out until then
the Freelancer Community network on the SWAT frontpage will be entirely replaced with SWAT Mod Spotlight feature that is connected to a new mod database
Reason for completly removing the FLCN is the fact that SWAT is not represented there anymore and the fact that in the past months the FLCN turned out to be a security risk for the sites which host it.
We simply replace it with something that we consider to be more useful. Huor is already working on this project.
Download database updates... I intent to do a complete check on the download database to see if we really cover all neccessary downloads for the games we already support... also some structural changes can be expected.
Starlancer online... I have already build a new site for this project which will have to be filled with information now. Together with some ads we should be able to bring back Starlancer to a few fans out there and allow them to play together again.
SWAT is the only remaining SL community on the net.
The SWAT section building process went good so far with collecting information... but I think we have not enough yet so i give a bit more time to finish this... the new sections will finally be build at the end of this year.
