is there a way to have the game settings allow this i cant seem to find any options or any info on it in the forums. i don't want to force it using nvidia control panel so is there a way to allow it? it seems it only goes up to 1600x1200 or is there no 16:9 options because i am playing on my 50" plasma and would like to keep it that way.. my 28" inch just doesn't cut it even though it's 16:10

Here follow this and you should be fine http://www.moddb.com/mods/cros…utorials/fl-on-widescreen oh and dont worry if its lower resolution I have same res monitor like you and it fits perfectly

I had the same problem as I play on a 1680x1050 Monitor, and when I followed the guide at ModDB it worked perfectly.
The only problem I see is that it doesn't automatically take on the settings in the .ini file when you start the game. So whenever I start the game, I have to start the Single Player game (only way to "Reset" the FOV) so that it works. Otherwise my HUD is messed up because the game doesn't take on the new settings...
I wish there was an easier way to do it so that the game takes the new FOV and font size settings each time you start the game. I mean, after all, its in the game setting files...
