Launcher Version

    Can someone tell me which Launcher Version is current ?


    I have 1.6 while two guys have told me 1.7.


    I cannot fly in space but I can talk to people sitting on planet. :P:(


    If I have the wrong one, please also tell me how to fix it and if possible without unistalling everything. :):rolleyes:

    latest CF Launcher version is 1.6:


    if any probs, please try a clean install by following "Installation Instructions" in the CF Guide


    make sure u run as admin if using Vista


    remove read only attribute from all files and folders in the FL path

    I have Windows 98 SE.


    I will describe my problem fully.


    If I try to launch into space, the screen moves in pauses. e.g. I am trying to fly to Newark from Planet Manhattan. The Screen pauses and I can see Cruise Engine Charging @ 20% then after around 20 seconds, I see 40% and so on. :(


    So did someone understand my problem ?

    don't fly from manhattan to newark? maybe that helps 8)

    bad latency times in Windows 98 ;)
    dunno exactly - Wi 98 didnt used the DMA correctly ;) or graphic driver probs or network driver probs...

    I am going to upgrade soon to XP but looks like XP is going out since Vista has arrived. :(


    I was going to buy a New PC but the deal fell out. :(
