I am trying to activate the Crossfire Mod 1.7 but when I do it says that the Thumbs.db in the Movies Folder could not be copied. the thing is, it is there but is in Thumbs.db.flmmbak style. Is there something wrong with my game? [7]
thumbs.db not there in CF 1.7?

dunno what this file is used for i delete it always - in every folder...
try to delete the extension flmmbak... have you tried a clean installation? -
thumbs.db files are not needed for CF. They're just Windows created files that contain thumbnails for stuff in that folder
-
I installed the Crossfire mod 1.7 3 times, I think it might be the Freelancer Game itself, But it won't even let me finish activating it without this thumbs.db,
what I am thinkin, is that someone can attach it to an E-Mail and send it to me.
-
lol just make an empty file and call it thumbs.db
-
how?
-
just Right click in the folder, press NEW -> Text Document. [make sure you have "hide extensions for known file types" disabled[Folder Options -> View]] then just change the name from "New Text Document.txt" to "thumbs.db"
Or open Notepad, and save that empty file in that folder as thumbs.db
-
use notepad
-
I tried but the file disapeered, and it still said it had trouble loading it up, plus when I had crossfire installed (not fully activated) it would not let me play normal freelancer! that sucks!
-
I even reinstalled freelancer, and it still did not work!
-
dont reinstall
delete FL completly and then install it again (there is a difference between those) -
I guess it worked finally.
