Permanent Retirement

    Hi all


    After attending last nights meeting for 20 minutes, myself and Zenirix hereby retire permanently from FL.


    I gave the 68,000,000 credits I was able to raise from my cash, ship and equipment to CFPD Ozy for being a good companion during my time back here :D

    I'd decided last night was crunch time, so I attended the meeting, knowing that the path the meeting followed would decide wether myself and Zenirix stayed or not. After listening to the course of the meeting for 20 minutes, both myself and Zenirix decided we were going to leave. We can now be found playing Anarchy Online, under the names Zenirix and Ryzune07.

    I know what you mean mate


    Some of these online meetings can be real tedious - a recent one with LPs took about 2 hours and the actions out of it could be summarised in about 3 lines.


    However, I am begining to think regular scheduled meetings within a clan, or even amongst server clans is a good thing


    It helps us to stay in touch and ask questions, disseminate info, get to know each opther etc


    It's taken me 2 years to learn about MSN :-)

    I must travel unknown lands and learn new knowledge to KOS you on Anarchy Online.

    It was mainly the fact that the meeting was a re-iteration of what had been said before, and I didn't feel it was going anywhere..... a little like where I work. I work for a college, we have meeting after meeting after meeting, but very little actually changes. Zenirix and I decided we have more fun on Anarchy Online, so we have moved there.


    I wish the SWAT community all the best, and hope things get sorted out here.

    You joined the meeting after the "real stuff" was discussed. where there was total and complete cooperation, agreement and strict adherence to the rules.


    All you saw was the last half where the players were just openly discussing thier points of view.

    Maybe so, but I personally don't think CF is ever going to have a truly inclusive RP, there will always be people who refuse to play along. I spoke about it with Zenirix and we decided that CF was too small, and too wrapped up in it's own squabbles to be fun, and as such moved to Anarchy Online, an MMORPG, where these squabbles don't occur, you just do your own thing.
