Sol System Fubar?

    Hello all,


    I'm fairly new to this mod and playing through the open singleplayer, however, upon entering the Sol system, the ship is buffeted around by what seems like heavy turbulance, and every other in-system jumpgate (why not tradelanes???) causes a BSOD 8o .


    Can anyone help with this?, I did a forum search and found nothing.

    Try disableing the 3D sound in options if the game kicks you to desktop when you enter jumpgates.

    even if doing SP only it is advisable to do a clean install with a download of all the updates from the server (several hundred files atm) at least one time... (and yes, 3D sound should be disabled)

    Disabling 3d sound made no difference... yes a BSOD! :(
    It was a completly fresh install.
    Updates from servers?.. is there any way to aquire these without joining one?, are there any updates that deal with this issue?


    I haven't come accross any other issues yet by the way, all other systems are working ok, so far.

    if you are connected to the i-net and run the launcher then it will download somewhat about 500 files
    thats the update



    but the normal version of cf1.7 doesnt need updates to work correctly in SP

    Hmm..cf1.7 is what I have, so what could be causing this problem? Weird, it is only Sol with the problem..

    Now i have th problem too. I can't enter the sol system! After entering the warp anomaly the game quits.


    3D Sound is off. Has someone a solution? ;(


    Edit: I reinstalled everything and now it works, but Sol ist still very unstable.
