Installation notes:


1. Start with a clean installation of Freelancer, don't forget to backup your multiplayer ID by running
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Games\Freelancer\EXE\myflaccountid.hta"
2. Install Freelancer Mod Manager v1.4 beta4 if you haven't done so already
3. double click the mod - the Freelancer Mod Manager will now unpack it.
4. activate the mod with the Freelancer Mod Manager - you can choose between 5 different HUD backgrounds.
5. Do NOT activate any other Mods, SDK packs or the Freelancer Quickfix. All files you need to play are integrated into the WTS client mod).


If you experience any problems while unpacking and/or activating the WTS Mod with the Freelance Mod Manager, you can also install it manually. In that case rename the Mod file from WTS-World-V-4-16-Final-Client.7z.flmod to WTS-World-V-4-16-Final-Client.7z and extract the Mod using 7-Zip archiver (http://www.7-zip.org/) and extract the contents of the 7-zip file into the Freelancer directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer, overwriting any existing data. In the root of the Freelancer directory is a batch file named 'HUDselection.bat'. By running this file you can choice between the different HUD backgrounds.





Connecting to the server when the global server is down:
- Right click on the Freelancer shortcut that is on your desktop and select properties.
- Select the shortcut tab and put this in the target bar
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -Siwanttoplay.no-ip.info:2302
(you may have to adjust the path if you've installed Freelancer in a different location)
When starting Freelancer with this shortcut, the server will show up in the 'Internet' & 'LAN' games.

Changes/additions in this WTS version:


* WTS-World V4.16 contains a few bug fixes, small adjustments and additions, and updated clan bases.


Major changes/additions in WTS version 4.14:
* ships, equipment and trade routes have been completely rebalanced.
- ships have been balanced according to rating system for offense, defense and agility. Generally, an increase in fire power means a slower, less agile ship with less armor.
- each ship class has its own set of engines, ship handling, and statistics.
- 22 additional ships added (brings the total number of custom ships to 459).
- ship locations redone: more cheap starter ships in Sol systems.
- info cards are redone to give more useful information about ship stats and weapon/equipment loadout possibilities.
- weapons, upgrades, power plants, and thrusters have been adjusted to fit the newly balanced ships.
- standard weapons, shields and NPC loadouts have been redone, making the NPC's an even tougher opponent.
- base price and profit of commodities has been increased. Trade routes have been rebalanced and an additional 38 commodities are added (credits to Excelsior for idea's and descriptions of new commodities).

* a big thanks goes to Lancer Solurus for scanning WTS version 4.12 for errors and helping to fix them. A lot of annoying bugs were fixed that otherwise would have never been found.

* colorful new Nav Map and new interface.
- now including changed program messages.
* newly colored nebulas.
* lots of more new commodities + profitable (but risky) trade routes.
