Leaving Sol?

Well ... I have installed Crossfire 1.82 and started playing the original Campaign. Ended up in Kusari Space so far (level 15) and became hated by everyone, as usual within the Tekagi missions. Went shooting Xenos to get rep back up for some trading to get from level 15 to 16. Had issues with remaining hate, that seemed untouched by Xenos hunting (Stargate etc), went looking for Corsair base in Omega 5 to fix some of that. Well ... and then I made this big mistake of wondering where this Gate in Omega 3 leads to that I suddenly found.... Some hours later and lots of pointless flying through neutral (?) Dom Kavash Space in my shaggy Dromedary, where nothing happened other than meeting a gazillion Motherships, Freespace ships and whatnot (I guess it's more interesting and less neutral in the CF Campaign ), I ended up in Sol finally, hoping I could get back to Dublin there by passing Hyperion to be back in Vanillaspace for some more trading. Flew through the immense Sol system, tried to locate Hyperion gate or so in the "east" .. but nothing ... can't find any way to get back to Sirius....

Any ideas?
