no, you can return to the main campaign if you followed the missions instructions and did not leave the pathand if that wont work for you because you left the path or did not follow the instructions you can always load the last generated savegame from the main campaignthe bonus missions are a work in progress and always will remain work in progress because that is the only way to add more story content bit by bit

I played the bonus missions about 3 weeks ago and everything worked fine.I really don't know why it would not work for you.Deactivating the autosave is not possible.

And you are sure you did not load autosave at some point?The files contain lots of stuff that should not be there.
