HA!!! that happened to me a few month's ago as well!! (same age) lol i think reinstalling windows has some limitations to what a PC can handle:D i reinstalled mine about 3 or 4 times

ask around, some of your friends or family might have some spare parts that might fix the prob, thats how i got mine working i nice friend gave me a custom cased PC with a P4, and im back lol

question. what type of video card ya running? and did you reinstall it recently? we might be able to fix the prob and if its a reg prob, get advance system care v3, it's free and works wonders and if you lived in NZ i would have gave ya a few parts:D stocked up in case mine broke again LOL

from what i can guess. it's the hard drive.. or the bios is damaged.. i had the same probs to... i recommend you start to backup before it happens...something i didn't do when it happened to me... Cool!!! i heard of some reports in the forum's that freelancer and vista didn't blend well togetherand i thought it was bloody funny when i saw some doc on this vista XP battle on TV a few monthsago :D, i think it was on 20 20 (some news show in NZ)

be careful when installing your windows, the more you install the worse it can get.i have know idea why this is.... but i can only assume that when formatting a hard drive multipletimes, it wears down the hard drive down a bit..... if you do this again, be careful of a multiple system shutdown.
