from what i can guess. it's the hard drive.. or the bios is damaged.. i had the same probs to... i recommend you start to backup before it happens...something i didn't do when it happened to me... be careful when installing your windows, the more you install the worse it can get.i have know idea why this is.... but i can only assume that when formatting a hard drive multipletimes, it wears down the hard drive down a bit..... if you do this again, be careful of a multiple system shutdown. yaee!:D nice to see someone avoid a simultaneous shutdown. a thing that nobody should go though. (nothing recoverable software/hardware) i was lucky to be paranoid and take my V card and sound card out. lol hint: you can never be to paranoid about PC's LOL you may have herd my PC was killed by a Trojan? it was a reinstall of windows to fix the prob that it causedbut... i reinstalled a bit to much lol... but i now have one hell of a beast i hope your PC runs smoothly:)
