Is dwintl.dll file present in your Freelancer\EXE\1033\ folder ?

Don't use it with Crossfire

If you want better aim, choose same guns (projectile speed is the same). This is typical reason not to hit anything.

Can you tell which ship, guns, missiles, torpedoes and upgrades (if any) you got now ?

This guy has made an installer to fix these issues at Freelancer

Download Jason's FreelancerPatch v1.20 and run the .exe file (fixes several issues besides widescreen support )

Find perfoptions.ini in your Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts and edit this:

[Display]

size= 1920, 1080

color_bpp= 32

depth_bpp= 24

Your desktop resolution should be the same.

It will work with the no-cd Freelancer.exe, np's.

The copy protection from 2003 isn't working anymore and that's why you need the no-cd

So, uninstall Crossfire, FreeLancer Mod Manager and Freelancer from Control Panel.

Clean registry by using CCleaner and reboot Windows - now Freelancer is gone.

If you have played Multi Player, you may want to save your ID (if you don't have a copy).

Erm, clean Freelancer reinstall. No need to reinstall Windows 10

Freelancer can run on any Windows version, so I suggest a complete reinstall.

First: Are you a member of "Administrators" group on your computer ?

Did you install and play other mods (incompatible savegames) -> save and delete files in folder Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts\SinglePlayer

I never had any problems with Windows Defender - just remember to exclude FL and FLMM folders from scanning/quarantine.

Odin Kree : You put the Freelancer.exe in FLMM CrossfireMod folder. You can't run it from there. The Mod folder is only for activation of Mods.

One of your freelancer error files tells that you installed in "D:\freelancer2\Freelancer.PC.Game(djDEVASTATE™)\Freelancer.PC.Game(djDEVASTATE™)\" folder.

If/when you reinstall I suggest that you use D:\FL or similar short foldername and as ex. D:\FLMM for the Freelancer Mod Manager.
